Boots met sand, baits were cut, and lines were wet last night for the first time in what seemed like a millennium.
Unfortunately, that was about all that happened…
Pushing through some cold downpours was rewarded with what looked like a promising night last, but with water temps still low (but climbing) there was little action to report.
It would appear that, after this weekend, this New Ice Age will be receding and there is the promise of some good fishing weather for mid-week.
My advice…try. It felt great to be out there and that is 90% of the reason for doing this at all.
